Holy crap. Four tracks in and not a single "EDM" song yet. This is a nice pop playlist I guess. I'm not trying to put you down or anything, but i've pretty much gone all the way down the rabbit hole as far as electronic music goes, from Tiesto to Merzbow, and i'm calling it like I see it here. How does it take 2 years to make a playlist of pop music? A little over 500 songs...well ok but I have at least double that sitting on my shelves on EDM CD's. I can name a number of electronic music artists and genres right off the top of my head for almost any playlist full of songs with less than 10,000 views on YouTube and 0 dislikes. I could have a full selection in less than a day of research. I literally just put this together mostly from memory in the last two hours before I got bored, and I already got 80 tracks: https://open.spotify.com/user/zwt8eo5sryr84giqtx9j4kb7b/playlist/78v3Y2k85PTsdNZ2DDgcuW Protip: Most music uses drum machines and synths these days, but it's not all "EDM". Because it has chopped up vocals and a WOBWOBWOBLE in the background does not make it EDM. Also, most of these tracks are full on four on the floor high energy stompers that would not be out of place in any popular club, far from actual "chill". This is an example of actual chill EDM, the likes of which you will not find on this playlist: [Shulman vs Bluetech - Midnight Bloom](https://youtu.be/JBNmoKC61kU) I am not sure what you think chill is, but it's not necessarily a genre on its own. It can apply to any genre really. There is chill electro, chill trance, chill house, chill dubstep, or just plain atmospheric chill music. It has a certain defining atmosphere. You can't really explain it by describing certain sounds or instruments or arrangements (except that, ironically, it's probably the type of EDM that contains the highest percentage of "real" instruments in it). It's music you sit down and meditate to. Introspective music that has the ability to make you think. Not club diva singing bombastic dancing fist pump music. I did see Blackmill, which is the only thing so far approaching "chill EDM" on this list.
