expect: * lightsticks: as others have described, basically a glorified flashlight!! they're [custom to each k-pop group](https://mashable.com/article/k-pop-lightsticks-explained) and are mostly there for to up the fun time you'll have :) usually they'll sync up with the lights/setlist at the concert or something. also [fun to decorate](https://twitter.com/mingyuhuhu/status/1006560112373141509)! (caratbongs, the svt lightstick, is out of stock in most places rn -- they'll prob be available for sale at the venue but def not necessary to buy to enjoy the con as they usually run \~$60 on average) * [fanchants!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAcKCzU-aYM) (maybe!) sort of like a call-and-response bt the fans and artists!! svt is notorious for some of the most difficult in k-pop (saying all 13 members names in order... and then backward.... in the span of like [30 sec](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYd-hbF166Y) lol) assuming you're going to one of the NA stops fanchants aren't actually as commonly heard!! in my experience people usually just sing along the whole time and don't memorize the fanchants 😂 * svt-specific: * LONG ASS AJU NICE ENCORE (for bets seoul it was like running up 15 min...) and long ass opening/closing ments LOL (there's 13 of them, so...) ments are when the artist says some nice words of gratitude etc etc usually at the opening/closing of the concert. bets was running like 4 hours for each of the seoul days 😭 * fandom sing-a-long!!! [big sappy moment](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhJEy5fBayw) where carats sing back one of our many sweet fandom songs :'( [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/seventeen/comments/v3y9y5/seventeen_fan_songs_made_for_carats/) is a pretty good list of them! so far we've been getting a heads up.. somewhere??? a few days prior to the concert of what it'll be. * [concert fits](https://www.reddit.com/r/kpophelp/comments/va55md/concert_dress_code/) :) expect a lot of rose quartz/serenity... (svt fandom colors).... probably [white](https://twitter.com/jjeongsshuji/status/1540559984592683008) as well... * fandom projects: usually there'll be some people giving out freebie merch/etc around the venue! for NA there's some nice [fandom organised projects for banners/stickers](https://twitter.com/usagaincarats) \-- they're still accepting donations rn to make it happen :') do's/don'ts: * get to the merch line a bit early if you're planning on buying, esp if you want a lightstick!! (i think 1-2 hrs ahead of con will be fine...) * just be polite and don't do what you wouldn't want others to do!!
