Jup, it's a trend I jumped on, and it's quite cool that bass gets more prominent nowadays! Some days I don't have enough energy or motivation to learn a song or transcribe it. Pop saved me there altough I'm not much of a pop guy, especially the ones you named. One day I was on Spotify and decided to give a song I heard in the radio a try because the bass part sounded easy, and I didn't have the motivation to learn something harder. I played it by ear on the go without taking notes and decided to find more. Now I have a playlist, I wanted to post it as a thread already with the background, but it's way too small to be relevant. Maybe 30 minutes of songs. Anyway, here it is: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7r9s9lK3qdf5vV5z3RQthL?si=DWDxDFzKT-eTimXLBBol0w&utm_source=copy-link&dl_branch=1 A bunch of songs that are more or less easy to learn by ear without much of a hassle. I tried to keep it pop-ish, and not to go too niche, but it has some lesser known artists in there as well. I am not an intermediate player but can play almost all of them "good" or "good enough" on the go. I hope that helps someone!
